Marie-Justine Labelle is Desjardins Investments’ Head of Responsible Investment, where she is charged with developing the organisation’s RI strategy and monitoring the rigour of its RI approach. Prior to this, she spent several years working as a sustainable finance consultant for PwC UK in London, advising leading financial institutions and international organisations on sustainable finance. During this time she developed an in-depth expertise on climate finance and Net Zero for financial institutions, for example acting as Technical Lead for the UK Government’s Climate Finance Accelerator Programme. Marie-Justine has a BSc in International Relations from the Université de Montréal, an MSc in Environmental Policy from the London School of Economics and has passed all three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level III Candidate. She also sits of the Board of Directors of Canada’s Responsible Investment Association.
