Jeff Keats is the National Lead for Cleantech Ecosystems and Market Intelligence at Export Development Canada (EDC). Passionate about the Canadian tech and cleantech ecosystems, Jeff has spent over 17 years at EDC supporting Canadian companies on their international growth journeys. Jeff’s experience includes structuring financing transactions, managing customer and partner relationships, leading business development teams, , supporting fast growth technology companies, and providing custom advice and growth capital. Prior to EDC Jeff taught English and trained teachers in Japan, worked at a telecom company, completed an exchange program in Germany as part of his MBA from Memorial University, and received his BBA from Acadia University. Originally from the East Coast of Canada, Jeff currently resides in Toronto.
