Elaine Corbett is Director of Strategic Partnerships at Ontario Genomics, where she is responsible for developing and leveraging strategic partnerships and common interests with provincial, national, and international public and private sector organizations. She has spearheaded strategic reports and partnership opportunities to advance the genomics and engineering biology ecosystem across priority bio-economic sectors in Ontario and Canada, including driving key initiatives to support the cellular agriculture and biomanufacturing ecosystems more broadly.

Elaine brings over 15 years of progressive leadership experience, working in industry, not-for-profit and academic sectors. Before joining Ontario Genomics, Elaine worked at two Toronto-based biotech companies, most recently as a Project Manager at SQI Diagnostics and a Senior Field Application Scientist at Axela. Elaine received her Honors BSc in Biomedical Science from University College Cork, Ireland, her Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Alberta and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Ontario.
